Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary

Photographers Comment: The black and white monkeys were quite high up, and required a long lens, I was using a 80-400mmVR, mostly at 400mm. They move about relatively slowly. The smaller Monkeys live in much denser trees and come when called and fed, getting a good shot through the foliage is more difficult. You can get very close, so a normal zoom is okay here, but you have to be quick.

This reserve has no fences so the monkeys are here because they want to be.

The villagers here did not want to have their photos taken, the reason given was that people promise to send photos but never do, only the guide was happy to have her photo taken.
